START YOUR BABY’S FIRST MONTHS WITH CONFIDENCE

Bringing your baby home is one of the most exciting moments of your life. It is also one of the biggest changes your family will ever experience.

The first months with a newborn don’t come with a manual. Every day brings something new.

Feeding changes.

Sleep changes.

Your baby’s needs change.

And it’s easy to wonder if you’re doing the right thing.

Many families book overnight newborn care during pregnancy because they want experienced support from the very first night home. Others reach out after their baby arrives when they realize overnight care would make those first months easier for their family.

No matter when we begin working together, my goal is to provide experienced overnight care, answer your questions, and help you feel more confident as you settle into life with your new baby.

What is a Newborn Care Specialist

A Newborn Care Specialist, also known as an NCS, is a trained professional who provides in-home, non-medical care and parent education during a baby’s first weeks and months after birth.

The word specialist is important. This role goes beyond general childcare. A Newborn Care Specialist focuses specifically on newborn behavior, feeding, sleep, development, safety, and the changing needs of families after a baby is born.

An NCS does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or perform clinical procedures. Instead, they provide hands-on care and guidance for the everyday realities of life with a newborn.

This may include feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, bathing, bottle preparation and sterilization, newborn laundry, nursery organization, and keeping a detailed log of the baby’s feeding, sleep, and diaper patterns.

An overnight Newborn Care Specialist cares for the baby throughout the night so parents can rest and recover. If the baby is breastfed, the specialist brings the baby to the mother for nursing and then handles burping, changing, soothing, and settling the baby back to sleep. If the baby is bottle fed, the specialist manages the nighttime feeding and care.

A Newborn Care Specialist also helps parents understand their baby’s cues, establish healthy feeding and sleep rhythms, learn soothing techniques, and know what to expect as their baby grows.

The first twelve weeks are a unique period of development, sometimes called the fourth trimester. Newborns are adjusting to life outside the womb while their nervous systems, sleep patterns, feeding abilities, and biological rhythms continue to mature.

Having support from someone who understands this stage can help parents feel more confident, get the rest they need, and build strong feeding and sleep foundations from the very beginning.

“Both of my kids were sleeping through the night!”

I happily and without hesitation recommend Krisztina to you as a night nurse and sleep trainer. She was wonderful to work with both in 2020 and 2024 for my  son (now 4 years old) and my daughter (16 weeks). With her knowledge, expertise and patience both kids were sleeping through the night by 12 weeks. She is not only professional but pleasant and kind. My two experiences with her could not haven been better and whomever hires her is lucky to have her.

BETTER NIGHTS CAN START EARLIER THAN YOU THINK

Service is designed for families in need of complete in-home nighttime care for their newborns, along with expert guidance to help their baby sleep through the night. These services are available in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.

For more than 20 years, I have worked overnight with newborns, helping parents understand their baby’s needs, create predictable routines, and build healthy sleep and feeding foundations from the very beginning.

During this time, I have helped hundreds of families navigate the newborn stage with more confidence and less stress.

I specialize in an Early No Cry Sleep Learning Method. Using a slow, gradual, and developmentally appropriate approach, your baby can learn to sleep up to 12 hours through the night by 12 to 16 weeks of age.
